The Examination Schools – an inspiring and stimulating environment for plenary sessions. Designed by the now famous architect Sir Thomas Jackson in 1876, the Examination Schools houses the University’s examinations and lectures, and outside of term time provides a unique conference facilities. It is brimming with stunning period features from sweeping Italian marble stair cases to ornate wooden carvings, and original Victorian fireplaces.
